AboutHugo
A driver from Valencia who reached the top of world karting step by step, often with no team behind him.
In his own words
My name is Hugo Martí, I’m 17 and I race karts. In 2023 I won the FIA Karting European Academy Trophy as a privateer, with no team.
I started in 2017 thanks to my father, who also raced and passed his passion for motorsport on to me. Since then I’ve raced Alevín, Mini, Junior and OK, and in 2026 I stepped up to KZ with the Birel ART factory team and Monlau Motul.
Now I’m looking to make the move into cars. I train body and mind at the CETDM while keeping up with my studies, and I’m looking for opportunities and brands that want to back me on the way.
